"Hello my little badgers! Gather around, gather around now." Lia said as she stood by the fireplace. "Welcome to Hufflepuff. Do remember the rules about dormitories and always respect one another."
She smiled at them. "I am a Hufflepuff alumni myself, and it is truly an honor to return here to teach and even be the Head of Hufflepuff house. Do not hesitate to talk to me if you need anything. I promise I don't bite."
She winked at her students, before clasping her hands together. "I know that we'll all work together nicely, and hopefully, Hufflepuff can win the House Cup. Now, you may hang out in the common room or head up to your dormitories. I'll be in my office."
Giving all the students a little wave, she left the common room.
